Calling all Screenshots
In an effort to keep things fresh I’m looking to update the image rotation on the front of the site. We’ve gotten several new members since this site went live and some of us old timers have new toons of our own added to the mix. So what I’m asking for is for anyone who’d like to see their character on the front of the site, please send me a screenshot of them doing something in game. It doesn’t really matter what they do, it can even be just standing around but hopefully not. I only ask they be in an official Star Patrol uniform, the character is recognizable, and the image quality is high enough to fit the available space (600 px wide, the default screenshot the game saves to the screenshots directory will be ideal).
This call applies to everybody, even members who are already on the front of the site. I’m looking for new images so the existing ones will probably be going away if there are enough new ones to replace them.
Only one image per toon will be accepted, but feel free to submit as many as you like for any single toon and I’ll just use whichever works best for the site. Leaders, however, will have two images each provided two images are submitted for each leader.
Ideally, I’d like to have images of every Leader and Commander. Images of any member will be used though, so rank isn’t a requirement.

Well, I’ve always liked my original “just bopped someone off the screen” shot for Sharpe, so would like to stick with that one, but will see what I can come up with in a) a second shot of him doing something else, and b) an updated “bop” shot (seeing as his costume has changed a tad since).
I will probably need backup getting a good shot of Nacht – he’s proven difficult to get a good screen shot of solo, given a warshade’s “fluff” graphic effects.
The rest of my SP toons shoulf be pretty simple. Gonna be a lot of them… :p

All of the old images have been removed from the Star-Patrol.net home page and there are nine new images up. These are pretty much everything that’s been submitted so far.
Sharpe (and anyone else), if you need help getting those shots let me know and I’ll arrange a time to get online to assist.

My internet is down at my apartment (I’m at a friend’s place right now), but as soon as it’s up, I’ve got a couple of shots I can submit. Do you mind if I send you two or three and you can pick one for the front page?

Absolutely! If you have more than one, go ahead and send them all. I’ll use whichever one looks best on the site.
