Strawberries?
If anyone happened to look, you may have noticed the News Archives page has changed. I’ve experimenting with a number of different themes for the Archives so until I settle on one (or break down and design my own), please enjoy the change of scenery.

Not sure if I remember it being there, but important to note that an established character who joins won’t necessarily be able to start with a SP uniform handy: all their current slots might be occupied by something they’d rather keep than re-create. As for NEW new characters, ones specifically created from scratch to join SP, they should start with the uniform as slot one… but not everyone actually comes here first, and I’m loathe to curb their enthusiasm on the first try. Boo-boos get made, had one today (StarShip Flower). I just offered to supply the costume salvage necessary to get her the 2nd slot. Considering the inf I and some others in SP seem to have a knack for making, no skin off my nose.

This is one of the reasons having an official uniform is not a requirement to join. Technically, ANYONE can join; you only need the uniform to get promoted past Cadet. I encourage established/high-level members to assist new members in getting a proper uniform, as you suggest, Sharpe. The Halloween event is coming up soon and this will give us all an opportunity to store up additional sets of costume salvage just for this purpose.
