I have a sample of what the Members Page may look like. Fairly simple, just a list of members, their rank, origin, archetype and whether or not they are a main or alt character (to be determined by the player, and players may have multiple main characters). The individual character pages are up as well, which include screenshots along the right side of the page. Please, all Star Patrol members review these pages and comment to this post with your opinions, criticisms and suggestions concerning these pages and how I might improve them.

If anyone happened to look, you may have noticed the News Archives page has changed. I’ve experimenting with a number of different themes for the Archives so until I settle on one (or break down and design my own), please enjoy the change of scenery.

There are now example uniforms on the Uniform Requirements page. A single image on that page will load at random each time the page is loaded/refreshed, and a link below the image will take visitors to a page with seven examples.

I tried to make the examples as varied as I could while keeping with the exact requirements as well as their spirit. By no means can seven examples truly represent all the posibilities for what a Star Patrol uniform may look like, but I felt some visual examples would be helpful to new members to the super group.

With the website up and active and a large number of Star Patrol members also up and active, I would like to schedule events we can all participate in. However, I also need a method of informing everybody about these events and possibly getting confirmation of particular members’ attendance prior to an event’s start. Obviously there is this updates page, as well as the MotD visible to all SP members in game. Unfortunately, the MotD is not archived so if it’s updated, any notice may be lost to some members, and this website relies on it being visited to notify anyone of anything.

So I’m open to suggestions as to how to get as many people notified of upcoming events well in advance. I have a number of tools available, such as emails, subscriber lists, online calendars… I just don’t know what will be the best to use. Please send me you ideas at bowman@star-patrol.net.

With Agents Raphael and Wright now above level 35 (and both members of the Midnight Squad), Star Patrol is ready to undertake the Imperious Task Force as a group. The time is set for this Saturday (Aug 9th) at 10:30pm MST.
